The water continues to rise in our county and all across Tennessee. It will continue to rise until tomorrow. Many home, restaurants, business, etc. have been damaged with water. Some are completely underwater and some just have standing water in them. The water is said to crest at 395’. This is the second highest crest since the creation of Tennessee Valley Authority according to them. As is Friday pickwick dam is releasing 10.8 Billion gallons of water an hour. And lastly over 100 roads are closed in Hardin county due to flooding. Please keep those affected in your thoughts
