Last month is Jan. Margaret Patton was the featured artist of the month. Many learned that Margaret has been teaching art for 3 years at the Senior Citizens Center in savannah. Tho the the class is held at the Senior Citizens Center, you do not have to be a senior to join the class. The class is open to all that want to join in on it. The class is held every Thursday from 12:30pm to 2:30pm. This month of February Margaret’s students will be the featured artist of the month! The showcase will be held at City Hall, and there will be a reception for those who would like to come look at the pieces and meet the artist. On Feb. 4th from 5-6pm everyone can come to city hall and view the art. Light refreshments will be available to those who come as well.
