On this day in 1894 Shiloh National Military Park was established. To celebrate this wonderful occasion you can stop by the Tennessee River Museum in downtown Savannah TN today. December 27th is the 124th birthday of Shiloh Park. This Park honors the fallen soldiers and battlefield at Shiloh. Everyone should experience this amazing place and take a drive through the park and see the battlefield cannons and “Bloody Pond”.
