The Hardin County Election Commission is holding a public meeting about the closures on Wednesday, March 27, at 3 p.m. in Savannah at the Hardin County jail courtroom. Some members of the Hardin County Commission were upset to learn the local election commission has decided to close polling places in their districts only after election officials had already voted, raising questions about whether adequate public notice was given.
